However, depending on the timing and reason for withdrawing from the Tournament, there is a possibility that no other Player will be moved up.
*8: No changes to the Tournament schedule requested for the convenience of Players will be accepted. If a Player who has qualified for the Main Tournament is unable to participate, the Player in question will be considered to have abstained or been disqualified.

*10: In order to prevent Players from arbitrarily changing languages, Players shall, in principle, participate in the online Qualifier rounds in the version distributed in their own region of residence. If a Player wishes to participate in the Tournament by playing a version of the game different from the version distributed in his/her region of residence, they must declare this at the time of entry (e.g., if a Japanese national residing overseas wishes to participate in the overseas Qualifier rounds by playing the Japanese version, or a foreign national residing in Japan wishes to participate in the Qualifier rounds by playing the Global version). In such cases, the Operation Team will designate the online Qualifier rounds according to the region of residence.
3. Tournament Format
The Tournament consists of four parts: the online Qualifier rounds and the Main Tournament consisting of the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Grand Final.
The Tournament must be entered by individual players (“Players”) on the Tournament entry website, and each Player must participate in the online Qualifier rounds, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Grand Final themselves. However, if the Player is a minor, they must obtain permission from a parent, guardian, or other legal representative before entering the event.
(Device and Environment)
In the online Qualifier rounds, Players will participate online from their own homes or other locations with a good playing environment, including the Internet, on their own devices.
In the Quarterfinals and later rounds, the Players will gather at an event site in the Tokyo area for the offline Tournament.
In principle, Players will be asked to play on their own devices in the Main Tournament. However, in the event of a poor connection to the transmission equipment, the Operation Team may, at its discretion, ask Players to play on a device provided by the Operation Team.
(Tournament Format)
The top 12 finalists from the Second Online Round of the Japanese online Qualifier rounds will advance to the Quarterfinals.
In the international online Qualifier rounds, four Players selected by the Operation Team for each version of the game (English, Korean, and Traditional Chinese) from the top scorers in the Second Online Round, respectively, will advance to the Quarterfinals.
The Quarterfinals of the Tournament Division will be held for a total of 25 Players, including 24 Players who have passed the Second Online Round and KAN, the winner of the COLORFUL STAGE! Championship 2023 Spring, as a seeded Player.
From the Quarterfinals onward, the Tournament will be played in an irregular Tournament format with seeded Players targeted according to the rankings of the opposing blocks, as shown in the diagram below.
*1: For the international Qualifier rounds, score results are an important reference factor for advancing to the Quarterfinals, but please note that the top scorers are not necessarily guaranteed a place in the Quarterfinals due to possible restrictions imposed by laws and regulations in each country.
(Quarterfinals)
Players will be divided into groups of 5. The first-place winner of each group will advance to the Semifinals (upper bracket).
The second-place winner in each group will advance to Semifinals Round 2 (lower bracket). Players finishing third or lower in each group will be eliminated.
(Semifinals)
The top three finishers in Semifinals Round 1 (upper bracket) will advance to the Grand Final, while the bottom two finishers will be Targeted to Semifinals Round 3 (lower final).
The top three finishers in Semifinals Round 2 (lower bracket) will advance to Semifinals Round 3 (lower final). The bottom two Players will be eliminated.
The top two finishers in Semifinals Round 3 (lower final) will advance to the final (Grand final).
(Grand final)
The top three Players from Semifinals Round 1 (upper bracket) and the top two Players from Semifinals Round 3 (lower final) will be the top five Players in the Tournament.
The Grand Final will determine the winner.
(About the winners)
For the Tournament Division, there will be one winner, one runner-up, one third-place winner, one fourth-place winner, and one fifth-place winner.
In addition, if a penalty is discovered after the final ranking has been determined, that competitor's prize may be withdrawn and the most recently placed lower-ranked competitor may be moved up. If there is more than one lower-ranked Player, the Operation Team will discuss how to handle the situation. Please note that Players will not be moved up from the online Qualifier rounds.
